Our Approach to Investing
Health Care
Provision of hospitals, medicine and health care facilities which can be accessed by the medium to high end clients. Our focus is on development and acquisition of primary health care facilities for mid-scale to upscale clients.
Agriculture
We partner with government and private individual high end in capitalized estates which focus on producing agricultural products which can be exported to European or Asian markets. Our focus is on beef, citrus and lucerne.
Education
Government in Zimbabwe is focusing on providing basic education for both primary and secondary level. We have identified a gap in the provision of high quality education as they are very few independent private school developers in Zimbabwe. Our approach involves identification of prime location where we could provide affordable high quality education to the target market.
Mining & Industrial
African has abundant mineral resources range from limestone, platinum, diamonds gold, cooper and iron. Our strategy involves acquisition of mineral rights, exploration, fund raising and mining production. We normally focus on environmentally friendly minerals and ensure our mining processes, do not endanger the environment. Our environment management processes include: mine rehabilitation and dump reclamation processes .The Company has acquired various mining licenses and is in the process of carrying out feasibility studies and in some instances mining had already commenced.
Technology
No one can afford to ignore the power of new technology and application in this environment. Lamcent has partnered a lot of technology developers in developing new technology which seeks to make the life style of the masses easier. Our environment in power are carefully selected to ensure that they do not cause harm to the environment .Our investment in solar and hydro projects will augment government current efforts in reducing the power deficit in Southern African countries. The use of line for desulphurization in our thermal plant project picks volumes of our need to protect the environment.
